Nifty animation academy over in France. Their thesis students work in teams rather than individually, and after looking at their work... I think Ringling might want to consider a change. Some of these peices are amazing. Especially "Burning Safari". Cutest little robo-critters ever.

Their Animation Gallery
Burning Safari

Check it out, but don't tell the CA's I think it's good. They'll beat me to death with their Dual monitors or Wacom 3's or something.

Hit metrocon this weekend, good times. There were some pretty impressive cosplays to be seen, including the entire cast of Final Fantasy 6. Didn't go in costume myself, but planning to have a couple reday for my next con. Rezo from Slayers, Hughes from FMA, and last but certainly not least, Random Water Tribe Member from Avatar: The Last Airbender. (A horribly underrated series. Think japanese style animation/storyline with an american framerate and cultural jokes, and you've got a good idea. If you haven't been following the plot, most of the episodes are up for download on a p2p program of your choice.)

Oh, also, I got my Wacom signed by Monkey Punch! Hopefully a little talent rubbed off on it too.

Children Outlines - Finished - Illustrator

Spending a weekend on vacation at Megacon. In between panels and screenings I had to polish off this comission for a Mental Health Clinic in Vermont. They're to be painted on a wall in the lobby of the building, so to deal with the scale they're all vectored in Illustrator.

So yeah, More posts post-con I imagine. Probably some photos as well.

Not going in costume this year, but for next year... "Water tribe!"
